Who we are
The Salvation Army Huntsville is a Christian church and community organization committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ, meeting human needs and being a positive influence in the community. Through worship, community care, family services, outreach and practical assistance, we support individuals and families while creating opportunities for connection, hope and growth.
Our history
The Salvation Army has been serving the Huntsville community since 1886, providing spiritual, social, physical and emotional support to people in need. For generations, our local ministry has grown alongside the community, offering services such as food assistance, counselling, community outreach and opportunities for fellowship and worship. Today, we continue that commitment by responding to local needs and working alongside community partners to help people find hope and support.

Weekly and monthly programs
Our weekly and monthly programs provide opportunities to worship together, build meaningful relationships, grow in faith and enjoy fellowship with others in our community. Everyone is welcome to take part and connect with us.
Sunday worship
Join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for worship, reflection, prayer and fellowship.
Community care ministries
Held on the first Sunday of each month, this ministry provides opportunities to care and support members of our community.
Bible study
Gather with us every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. to explore Scripture, grow in faith and engage in meaningful discussion.
Men’s breakfast
Held monthly on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m., this is an opportunity for men to enjoy breakfast, fellowship and conversation.
Seniors lunch
Join us monthly on Thursdays at 12:00 p.m. for a shared meal, fellowship and time together.
Ladies tea
Held every other Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., ladies are invited to enjoy tea, conversation and fellowship.
Quilting group
Meet every other Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for quilting, creativity, conversation and community.
